Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AI TokenScope ("Service"), operated by AI TokenScope ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

AI TokenScope is an AI governance and investment control platform that acts as a reverse proxy between your applications and the Anthropic Claude API. We intercept, classify, budget-enforce, and audit your Claude API calls on your behalf.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older and provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@aitokenscope.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any law or third-party rights
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass, or exploit the proxy infrastructure
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without prior written consent
  • Use the Service to process data classified above the data sensitivity level of your plan
  • Introduce malicious code, perform denial-of-service attacks, or probe for vulnerabilities

4. Anthropic API Keys

When you provide your Anthropic API key during setup, it is encrypted with AES-256-GCM and stored securely. We access your key solely to forward authorized requests to the Anthropic API on your behalf. We never log, share, or transmit your key to any third party.

5. Subscription and Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Paddle, our payment processor and merchant of record. Paddle collects and remits applicable taxes worldwide. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

6. Free Plan Limitations

The Free plan is subject to usage limits. We reserve the right to suspend free accounts that are inactive for more than 90 days or that exceed plan limits.

7. Data and Privacy

Your prompt data is processed to provide the Service and is subject to our Privacy Policy. In Privacy Mode, only prompt hashes are stored — no raw prompt text is retained.

8. Service Availability

We target 99.9% uptime for paid plans. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by Anthropic API outages or third-party infrastructure failures.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and all related technology remain our property. Your data remains yours. We claim no ownership over prompts, responses, or outputs processed through the proxy.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days then permanently deleted, unless a longer retention is required by law. You may export your audit logs before termination.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under JAMS rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
